King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Resort is located on the big island of Hawai'i in beautiful Kona, nestled on the grounds where Hawaii’s most famous King ruled, on picturesque Kamakahonu Bay. Pacifica Hotels, the parent company, reached our to Zizzle to help them build a lifestyle site that focused entirely on the amenities and surrounding area, as a compliment to their corporate site. We created a content rich custom Wordpress site that is fully scalable and easily updatable through the backend. We integrated several unique features like a custom event calendar, an interactive amenity site plan, and an interactive destination map. We hope this site give potential guests a powerful planning tool, as well as a tool for guests at the hotel to utilize and fill up their daily schedules once at the resort. Now, time to pack for a "work" trip to Hawaii!
